Will you give me another try?
You ask this as you drive the knife into my chest,
On the phone you see not the tears I cry
I wish to take my everlasting rest.

Why don’t you drive it in deeper?
Unknowing of the blood that flows,
How can I fear the reaper?
He cares more for me and comes as my eyes close.

You liked me and jumped to my best friend,
Yet you claim you still love me,
Where do these lies end?
The pain shall set me free.

I now know the true evil of people,
Releasing it unknowing, unseeing.
How can I keep secrets that burn my soul?
I wish my heart would stop beating.

You attack another friend, severing another bond.
The lies in my life melt away,
I gave up my will to hold on,
I wish I could just fade away.

Put a steel trap around my core,
Protect it from the world,
Let myself seem crazy forever more,
I close my eyes and around a knife I am curled.

You alienate my friends from me.
You alienate me from you.
Why do I seem so mean?
Do you not see the torture I am put through?

You only know your pain and hers
Does it not bother you she would rather call you than me?
In my soul the truth burns.
Without me, she is completely free.

Kill me fast and make it quick I can not stay.
You can not stand me I am a freak and an awful friend.
They all love you more anyway.
Just allow my pain to finally come to an end.

Goodbye goodbye no one shall cry.
But why would I care, I am only human I know nothing like you
You may be older but my heart is deader even before I die.

How can you hate me?
You brought the truth upon yourself
Yet you scream and see not what I put my heart through
Have you seen the blood running from my open gaping soul?
My heart barely beating and my chest hardly rising every time I draw breath.
